Studio Salvadore Murano Glass
Studio Salvadore is a creative collaboration of Davide Salvadore and his sons, Mattia and Marco. They are descendant of a long line of glass workers, who lived and worked in the island of Murano, Italy. The atelier gained worldwide recognition through developing a special cold glass engraving technique, which gives a new dimension, a unique texture to the glass. The signature artworks of Studio Salvadore are created by applying crushed colored glass and murine to the molten base. Once the artwork is cooled down it is cold worked through grinding. The unorthodox color combinations and surface textures give a modern feel to these artworks. The artworks are signed, labelled and a certificate of origin is provided.
